چکیده

The development of low-cost electrode materials with enhanced activity and favorable durability for hydrogen evolution reactions (HERs) is a great challenge. MoS2 an effective electrocatalyst unique layered structure. In addition, aluminosilica shells can not only provide more hydroxyl groups but also improve the catalyst as protective shell. Herein, we have designed hard-template route to synthesize porous yolk–shell MoS2@void@Aluminosilica microspheres in NaAlO2 solution. alkaline solution directly etch silica (SiO2) hard templates on surface form outer electrocatalytic results confirm that exhibit higher HERs lower overpotential (104 mV at current density −10 mA cm−2) greater stability than microspheres. superior attributed structure yolk@void@shell geometric construction, protection shell, number active sites offered by their nanosheet subunits. design new strategy may set up method preparing other excellent HER materials.

Preparation of Ni-P-CeO2 electrode and study on electrocatalytic properties for hydrogen evolution reaction

In this study ternary Ni-P-CeO2 catalysts were first synthesized by the Co-electrodeposition method on a copper substrate and then characterized by means of microstructural and electrochemical techniques toward a hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Also, for comparison other catalysts such as Ni-CeO2, Ni-P, and Ni were prepared and characterized by the same methods. The microstructure of the inv...

Porous metallic MoO2-supported MoS2 nanosheets for enhanced electrocatalytic activity in the hydrogen evolution reaction.

Advanced materials for electrocatalytic water splitting are central to renewable energy research. In this work, MoS2 nanosheets supported on porous metallic MoO2 (MoS2/MoO2) were produced by sulfuration treatments of porous and highly conductive MoO2 for the hydrogen evolution reaction. Porous MoO2 with one-dimensional channel-like structures was prepared by calcination at elevated temperatures...

Molybdenum carbide stabilized on graphene with high electrocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution reaction.

In this work, we developed a general two-step method to prepare molybdenum carbide (Mo2C) nanoparticles stabilized by a carbon layer on reduced graphene oxide (RGO) sheets. The Mo2C-RGO hybrid showed excellent performance, which is attributed to the intimate interactions between Mo2C and graphene as well as the outer protection of the carbon layer.

Sol-flame synthesis of cobalt-doped TiO2 nanowires with enhanced electrocatalytic activity for oxygen evolution reaction.

Doping nanowires (NWs) is of crucial importance for a range of applications due to the unique properties arising from both impurities' incorporation and nanoscale dimensions. However, existing doping methods face the challenge of simultaneous control over the morphology, crystallinity, dopant distribution and concentration at the nanometer scale. Here, we present a controllable and reliable met...

Electrocatalytic Activity of the Ni57.3Co42.7 Alloy for the Hydrogen Evolution

The hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) on Ni57.3Co42.7 alloy and its main components, polycrystalline nickel and cobalt was investigated in 1.0 mol L–1 NaOH solution at 20 °C using cyclic voltammetry, pseudo-steady-state linear polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy methods. The purpose of investigation was to evaluate the effect of cobalt on the intrinsic catalytic activity of ...
